Four track and field athletes responsible for at least a piece of five YAIAA records are back to better those marks.

Michael Scott is the only runner left from the Dallastown team that set the 4x100 relay record in 2022.

Spring Grove senior Laila Campbell broke her own records in the 100- and 200-meter sprints as a sophomore in 11.24 and 23.58 seconds, respectively. She holds District 3 records in both events and the PIAA record in the 100.

Spring Grove's Ella Bahn set the league 300 hurdle record of 43.85 last year as a freshman. She also won district and state titles in that event.

Bermudian Springs junior Lily Carlson hit 12-1 to set the pole vault record last year. She won the PIAA pole vault title after finishing second in the district meet.

Times and distances only count if they come in a league-sanctioned meet or championship.

Here is a rundown of the YAIAA track and field records, according to the league website. Listed are the event, time/distance, athlete’s name, school and the year the record was set.
