Gettysburg dominated the heaviest weight classes on Thursday night, posting three pins in 1 minute, 35 seconds of match action en route to a 64-8 drubbing of Dover.

The pins came from Luke Cross at 195, Tyler Gallagher at 220 and Jared Manning at 285.

"It felt pretty good," Cross said. "I was all hyped up for the match before (Michael Fortney) won a close one. The place erupted, and I got all hyped up to win. I guess my pin got these two guys (Gallagher and Manning) hyped up, too."

Fortney's swing match was the wildest bout of the night.

The 170-pound bout against Matthew Lehman was scoreless through two periods, when Fortney landed a two-point takedown early in the final frame.

After a restart, Lehman turned the tables with a reverse to go up 3-2. A pair of fouls on Lehman for clasping his hands on holds gave Fortney a lead he wouldn't relinquish, as he won 5-3.

Gettysburg was without defending sectional champion Joseph Pecaitis and 3-time sectional place-finisher Daniel Zeigler, but it didn't matter on this night.
