In a rematch of last season's District 3 Class A title game, Camp Hill cruised by York Catholic, 40-28.

York Catholic fell behind Camp Hill big early and trailed 33-7 at the half.

Besides Dan Yokemick picking off Michael Shuster on the Lions' first possession, things went downhill in a hurry for the Irish.

Camp Hill running back Bill Williams, who torched the Irish for 200-plus yards and six touchdowns in last year's meeting, reached the end zone four times in the first half Friday.

Williams scored twice on the ground, including a 70-yard run on the first play of the Lions' second possession, and twice through the air on catches of 35 and 62 yards. The Lions scored 26 points before the Irish recorded a first down.

York Catholic got on the board in the second quarter when Yokemick scrambled, then found Luke Brennan behind the secondary for an 81-yard touchdown. The Irish had a chance to cut the lead to 26-10 but Brennan's field goal attempt bounced off the upright.

Williams added a fifth touchdown midway through the third quarter when he fell on an offensive fumble in the end zone.

Junior Jakkar Kinard, who led the YAIAA in rushing this season, ran for 124 yards and scored a fourth-quarter touchdown. Sean Lamont added a late touchdown to cut the lead to 40-28.
