SPRING GROVE WINS SUBURBAN TOURNAMENT >> Spring Grove's Josh Morton scored the game-winning goal in the second half off a pass from Darin Gordon to lift the Rockets to a 1-0 victory against Lancaster Catholic to win the championship at the York Suburban Soccer Tournament.
The Rockets started the day with another 1-0 victory York Catholic.
The host team, Suburban, suffered a dramatic loss in the opening round of the tournament as Lancaster Catholic advanced, 4-3, on penalty kicks after a 2-2 deadlock couldn't be broken in overtime.
In the consolation game, the Trojans rebounded to take down the Fighting Irish with two second-half goals from McGraw Lehman and Nick Bowman.

LOWER DAUPHIN WINS CENTRAL YORK PANTHER TOURNAMENT >> Despite defeating Waynesboro, 5-0, in the opening game of the Panthers' own tournament, Central York fell to Lower Dauphin in the championship game, 2-1.
East Pennsboro defeated Waynesboro, 6-2, in the third-place game.
Lower Dauphin had the most players named to the all-tournament team with four, while Central York had three representatives.

MECHANICSBURG TOURNAMENT
MUSTANGS SPLIT AT MECHANICSBURG >> South Western opened the tournament against the host Wildcats and were unable to create much offense as it fell,1 -0.
Alec Gehman scored the only goal of the game in the first half for Mechanicsburg.
The Mustangs offense clicked into gear in Game 2 as Anthony DeVincent scored twice in a 4-1 win against Trinity.
