Tuesday's District 3 softball tournament roundup: Littlestown moves on with win over Big Spring

Kaitlin Yealy homered and added two more hits in Littlestown's 10-5 victory against Big Spring in the opening round of the District 3 Class AAA tournament Tuesday.

Yealy had three RBIs as the Thunderbolts (18-4) advanced to face Twin Valley (19-5) in the quarterfinals Thursday at a site and time to be determined.

Mackenzie Somers had three hits and picked up the win, holding Big Spring to five runs on 10 hits. Big Spring's Kelsi Minich had a home run and three RBIs.
