GameTimePA staff selected these players for the 2016 fall first-team all-stars.

Lindsey Blevins, Red Lion, sr., outside hitter

The top attacking player in the league and one of the Lions' energetic floor leaders, Blevins is back for a second season among the GameTimePA first-team all-stars. She recorded 413 kills, 317 digs, 58 aces and 25 blocks during an all-state season. She helped Red Lion secure its first District 3 title, rallying the club from an 0-2 deficit. She also helped lift Red Lion to a state tournament appearance. The Lions lost to eventual Class 4A state champion Garnet Valley in the first round of the state tournament.

Logan Dontell, Red Lion, sr., middle hitter

One of the team's emotional leaders, she caused trouble in the front row with a team-best 86 blocks on the season. One of Red Lion's versatile senior leaders, she added 243 kills and 62 aces. Dontell also kept playing despite suffering a back injury in the opening game of the five-game district championship match.

Kat Forry, Dallastown, sr., libero

She managed to record 152 digs, 4 aces and 12 assists while working as the Wildcats' defensive specialist. Dallastown placed third in a crowded YAIAA Division I this season, securing a spot in the District 3 tournament where it lost in a five-game heartbreaker in the first round.

Claire Kaufmann, Delone Catholic, sr., middle hitter

As the top player and leader on the District 3 Class 2A title team, she helped the Squirettes overcome losses of experienced players to graduation by continuing to do a bit of everything. An all-state selection in Class 2A, she had 206 kills. She also added 33 aces and more than 30 blocks.

Marisa Krinock, West York, sr., middle hitter

An offensive force for the Bulldogs, she led the team with 326 kills and earned all-state honors in Class 3A. The Bulldogs rebounded from a five-game loss in the District 3 semifinals to reach the state semifinals in Class 3A, losing to eventual state champion Allentown Central Catholic. Krinock was a big part of the program's historic season. She added 60 digs and 54 blocks.

Emma Saxton, Central York, sr., setter

One of just two returnees to the GameTimePA first-team all-stars, Saxton increased her number of assists (783, 9.10 per game) and digs (170) from a year ago, helping her stand out during a year when the YAIAA had several deserving setters. She also added 21 blocks and seven aces. She has signed her letter of intent to play basketball next season at Bloomsburg University.

Heather Schoemaker, Red Lion

After inheriting a two-win team, Schoemaker has shaped Lions into a consistent contender for the YAIAA Division I crown. Red Lion won league and district championships this season in Schoemaker's fifth year at the helm. The Lions also went 8-0 in five-game matches, including rallying from an 0-2 deficit in the district final to win the District 3 Class 4A championship.
