Dover's Fink scores 1,000th point

Dover junior Rajah Fink joined the 1,000-point club during Thursday night's victory against Lampeter-Strasburg in the District 3 Class 5A seventh-place game.

Fink scored 18 points Thursday to bring her career total to 1,013 points.

She is Dover's first 1,000-point scorer since Ryan Beck in 2015. Alayah Hall was the last girls' player to reach the mark, achieving the milestone in 2014 when she became the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,619 points.

Fink entered Thursday's game five points away from the threshold. She'll look to add to her total when the Eagles open the state tournament next Saturday against the District 11 champion.
