Friday's roundup: Steele paces Bearcats to win

William Penn 56, Spring Grove 44: Chyna Steele scored a game-high 25 points, including eight in the first quarter, as the Bearcats built a 23-8 lead after one frame in their victory.

Teammate Maley-Zania Redman added 11 points in the win.

The Rockets were led by Maddie Hagerman’s team-high nine points.

Dover 51, Kennard-Dale 48: The Eagles used a strong third quarter to take the lead and hold on to victory, outscoring the Rams, 16-9. Dover's Julie Fox led all scorers with 18 points. Rajah Fink added 15, and Alaina Reaver added 14.

Abigail Pilkey and Megan Halczuk combined for 26 of the Rams points with 13 points each.
