Fairfield falls big on road to Silver Oak Academy

Stuck searching for a Week 3 opponent in the middle of the summer, Fairfield took the best they could get in Maryland's Silver Oak Academy.

The end result was not pretty for the Green Knights, as the Rams took apart the visitors 47-7.

"We gave up some big plays and didn't move the ball very effectively," said Fairfield coach Darwin Seiler. "We gotta get ready for Biglerville, that's all."

Silver Oak was led by running back Tyree Holmes, who moved the ball efficiently on the Green Knights according to coach Seiler.
