Dallastown's Lohss earns all-state nod

Dallastown senior Molly Lohss was named to the Pennsylvania all-state field hockey team on Sunday, the lone YAIAA representative on the rosters.

Lohss earned an honorable mention nod in Class 3A after helping the Wildcats win their second straight YAIAA tournament championship.

The Wildcats won their first-round match in the District 3 Class 3A tournament but were eliminated in the quarterfinals by eventual district champion and PIAA runner-up Palmyra. Lohss was an all-around force for Dallastown, scoring 10 points with nine assists and often defending opponents' top players.
