YAIAA field hockey tourney bracket announced

The YAIAA field hockey tournament has been set, with Bermudian Springs edging out Gettysburg for the final spot in the tournament.

The Eagles and Warriors finished the season tied at the top of Division III. Because their only losses came to each other, the third tiebreaking criteria was considered: District 3 power ranking. There, Bermudian's ranking of 0.717498 beat Gettysburg's mark of 0.654260, making the Eagles the Division III qualifier.

The tournament begins Wednesday and wraps up Thursday.

Semifinals: Wednesday at Northeastern
Susquehannock vs. Bermudian Springs, 5:30 p.m. 
Dallastown vs. Littlestown, 7 p.m.
