Eight YAIAA boys' volleyball players were named to the All-District 3 teams — five to the first team, three to the second team — on Wednesday.

Central York had four first-team members — Cole Johnson, Zak Kakos, Carter Luckenbaugh and Braden Richard. Dallastown's Nathan Darr also made the squad.

The Wildcats also had two second-team members in Jake Bixler and Avery Terroso. Central York's Ben Seebold was also picked for the District 3 second team.

The Panthers boys' volleyball team made history this season, winning its eighth state title in program history. Central York beat North Allegheny 3-1 last weekend to capture the Class 3A state crown.

Dallastown had a solid year as well, finishing with a 16-6 overall record, reaching the District 3 Class 3A semifinals and qualifying for the PIAA tournament.
