Littlestown and Dallastown both battled to the end of their District 3 team tennis tournament quarterfinals on Monday, but only one advanced to the semifinals.

Third-seeded Littlestown beat No. 6 East Pennsboro, 3-2, in the Class 2A tournament. Meanwhile, top-seeded Dallastown was upset by No. 9 Hershey in the Class 3A bracket.

Littlestown advances to Tuesday's semifinal against second-seeded Wyomissing, which was a 3-2 winner against Conrad Weiser in Tuesday's quarterfinal.

Fresh off his second straight District 3 Class 3A singles championship, Dallastown's Holden Koons picked up a straight-set win, but Hershey won the other two singles matches along with a doubles match to seal the win. Hershey's J.T. Mullins slogged out a three-set win against Dallastown's Hunter Jones, 6-3, 4-6, 6-0, in the day's most contentious match.

Hershey's top doubles team also won a second-set tiebreaker to clinch a 6-1, 7-6 win against Dallastown's Nicholas Istvanic and David Trimmer.
