GameTimePA staff selected these players for the 2016 fall first-team all-stars. Sean Heisey,

Aaron Bilbie, Susquehannock, sr.

A technical goalkeeper, he was the backbone of the Warriors defense. Bilbie recorded 12 shutouts and helped guide Susquehannock (16-3-1, 11-1 Division II) to a share of the YAIAA Division II title.

Cameron Gebhart, Red Lion, sr.

This super solid center-back was a primary reason Red Lion gave up just nine goals and recorded 14 shutouts on the year. Just 5-foot-11, 160 pounds, Gebhart still provided a physical presence on the field. He scored five goals and dished out seven assists.

Conner Griest, Biglerville, sr.

He’s big (6-foot-2, 175), smooth, strong and fast. The complete package, Griest has a nonstop motor and is a scorer who makes his teammates better. His numbers followed suit: 22 goals, 11 assists.

Kyle Hennigan, Dallastown, sr.

Smooth and solid under pressure, Hennigan fired home four goals — all on penalty kicks — this year as a defender. Hennigan is also known as a team leader for the Wildcats.

Carter Luckenbaugh, Central York, sr.

Standing at 5-foot-11 and 160 pounds, Luckenbaugh anchored the midfield for the Panthers. An all-around player, he racked up numbers in the Central offense scoring by 20 goals and handing out 11 assists.

Pierrce Miller, Central York, sr.

Lightning fast and exciting: That's the description for the Panthers senior who plays as if he’s been shot out of a cannon. Miller finished the season with 11 goals and 13 assists for the YAIAA Division I champs.

Drake Pew, Dallastown, sr.

A midfielder who isn't afraid to take his game into the offensive zone, Pew buried 13 scores and dished out nine assists for the Wildcats.

Ben Warner, Red Lion, sr.

When Warner gets his chance to bury a goal, he typically cashes in. He tallied 16 goals and added four assists this year for Red Lion.

Jason Weger, Susquehannock, jr.

An active player in front of the net, Weger is strong and seldom gets outworked. He finished the year with 17 goals and 11 assists.

Jacob Wells, South Western, sr.

A box-to-box midfielder, Wells is a complete player for the Mustangs. He handles the ball, distributes, finishes and defends. He recorded four goals and three assists.

Drew Wivell, Gettysburg, sr.

The engine for the Warriors, Wivell often set the table for the Gettysburg offense, and seldom had a down moment for one of top teams in the area. He fired home 10 goals and dished out 11 assists.

Matt Yingling, Gettysburg, sr.

He netted 26 goals and dished out four assists for a Warriors team that won another YAIAA tournament. Despite losing key veteran players from the year before, Gettysburg still finished with a 22-4-2 overall record and won a share of YAIAA Division II with an 11-1 league record. The Warriors advanced to the PIAA Class 3A semifinals for the second straight year, and Yingling was a main reason why both times.

Ian Hancock and Scott Hancock, Gettysburg

For the second consecutive season, this father-son co-coaching duo led the Warriors to a District 3 championship appearance and a spot in the PIAA semifinals. The Warriors finished the regular season with a 22-4-2 overall record and held a share of the YAIAA Division II title. Their run of success came just one year after losing significant talent to graduation and installing a new system and new style of play.
