Central York boys' lacrosse team locked up the YAIAA regular-season title with a 25-1 victory against visiting New Oxford Monday.

The Panthers dominated in the game, firing 50 shots on goal compared to New Oxford's 8. TJ Ross scored a game-high seven goals and Kollin Vaught added five.

Central improved to 14-1 overall and 12-0 in league play.

The Panthers will appear in the YAIAA tournament, which features the top four teams in the regular season and begins with semifinals scheduled for Wednesday, May 10. The championship will be held May 12. York Catholic won the tournament last season, with four different teams winning the last four tournaments.

The regular-season title marks the Panthers' first since it shared the Division I title with Dallastown in 2014. The Panthers last won the YAIAA tournament in 2013.
