York Catholic's Melik Martin scored a game-high 28 points to lead the Fighting Irish to a key YAIAA Division III victory against Delone Catholic on Friday night.

With the win, York Catholic claimed the division championship outright. It's the second straight division title for the Fighting Irish.

Martin was the only Irish player to reach double digits in scoring, but a total of nine other players were able to score. York Catholic pushed to a 43-23 lead at halftime and cruised.

Evan Brady led Delone Catholic with 15 points. The Squires played without leading scorer Logan Alexander, who was arrested Wednesday and charged with using a gun to rob a pizza delivery man.
