Eli Brooks breaks own single-game scoring mark

Spring Grove's Eli Brooks just keeps breaking records.

The senior and University of Michigan recruit willed his team over the Central York Panthers Wednesday evening, 63-60, in a battle for second place in YAIAA's Division I.

Brooks scored a career-high 46 points in the comeback victory, breaking the mark he set last week (40 points) in a victory over Middletown.

The Rockets trailed Central, 33-26, at halftime and didn't grab the lead until the fourth quarter. Brooks scored 21 points in the first half and finished with four 3-pointers and 12-of-14 from the foul line.

Spring Grove improved to 8-3 overall and 5-2 in Division I.
