Roundup: West York wins, McCauley scores 1000th

Just about everything went West York's way on Monday night, as the Bulldogs unveiled their new gym, sent a player into the 1,000 point club on senior night, and defeated Gettysburg, 68-44, in YAIAA Division II boys' basketball action.

The win also helped West York move into position to earn a spot in the upcoming YAIAA basketball tournament.

Senior Darian McCauley scored his 1,000th career point as he led all scorers with 25 points. Josh Bailey chipped in with 14 points for West York, and Ian Lalic had 12.

The Bulldogs also honored Ty Folk and his family after Folk's father died about a week ago. See photos and read more at GameTimePA.com, or look for the story in Wednesday's York Daily Record print edition.
