New Oxford rains 3's in victory vs. Delone

Here are Saturday's York/Adams boys' basketball results.

New Oxford 74, Delone Catholic 67: The Colonials knocked down 10 threes, including a trio of them in the second quarter by Trevor Floyd, in their victory over the Squires.

The Colonials received a game-high 21 points from Devon Duvall and 16 from John Wessel. Floyd also chipped in with 13 points, and Jordan Brown also hit double-digits with 10.

The Squires received a team-high 18 points from Logan Alexander, 13 from Brady Alexander and 12 from Evan Brady.

Carlisle 67, Central York 61 (OT): Deshawn Millington scored 20 points, 11 of those coming in the fourth quarter and overtime, as the Thundering Herd erased a nine-point fourth quarter deficit to defeat the Panthers in overtime.

Jared Wagner and Nathan Markey led the visiting Panthers with 12 points apiece. Niko Sobestanovich added 10.

In addition to Millington, the hosts received a 10-point effort from Nate Barnes, 13 points from Paul Cardland and 12 points from Jordan Purcell.

Central York jumped out to a 31-27 halftime advantage behind a balanced effort then pushed that lead to 44-35 after three quarters thanks to a trio of 3-pointers in the quarter.
