Roundup: Eastern's Nicholas delivers title


Eastern York's Broguen Nicholas drained six buckets from 3-point land on his way to a 22-point night as the Golden Knights beat tournament host Elizabethtown, 64-50, to win the title on Wednesday night.

Jared Achterberg added 18 for Eastern, and Dom Particelli scored 13.

Elizabethtown was led by Joey Lonardi's 15 points.

In the consolation game, Dallastown shut down Lancaster Mennonite in the third quarter to rally for a 55-72 victory. The Wildcats trailed by seven points at halftime but won the third quarter, 25-6. Brandon McGlynn led all scorers with 25 points, including a 11-for-11 showing from the line. Mike Diaz added 19, while teammate Aaron Ward netted 11.

Kyle Kerr led Lancaster Mennonite with 17 points.

Middletown tournament

Annville-Cleona 43, Susquehannock 35: Matt Light and Noah Myers scored 13 points apiece to lead the Little Dutchman to the win in the consolation game.

The Warriors were led by Josh Stoneberg, who also scored 13 points. He was the only Susquehannock player to reach double digits in scoring.
