Red Lion Christian teams take third


The Red Lion Christian boys' and girls' basketball teams both finished in third place in the KCEA tournaments by winning Saturday's consolation games at Upper Bucks Christian.

The Lady Swordsmen rolled to a 43-29 win against Calvary Baptist. Destiny Hollingshead notched a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge. She and teammate Allie Damiano were named to the all-tournament team.

The Lady Swordsmen finish the season with a 18-6 record.

On the boys' side, Red Lion Christian used a big third quarter to beat West Chester Christian, 63-55.

John Keenan and Tate Pendell each registered double-doubles. Keenan poured in 26 points and added 10 rebounds, while Pendell scored 15 points and dished out 10 assists. Pendell and teammate Zach Fahs were both named to the all-tournament team.

Red Lion Christian finished the season with a 16-8 record.
