With just a few regular-season games left in the YAIAA basketball season, each game can have a ripple effect on the league scene. Divisions are being clinched, and playoff spots are being sealed.

Here's a look at some of the notable impacts that came from Tuesday's results.

  • The Dover boys' basketball clinched sole possession of the YAIAA Division II championship thanks to West York's win against Eastern York. It's the Eagles' first division title since the 2011-12 season.
  • Dallastown was eliminated from the YAIAA boys' basketball tournament with its loss to Spring Grove and Central York's victory against South Western. Northeastern, Spring Grove and Central York will be the Division I representatives in the YAIAA tournament next week.
  • The Central York girls' basketball team clinched at least a share of the YAIAA Division I title. It's the Panthers' first division title since they won back-to-back division titles in 1997-98 and 1998-99.
  • The Susquehannock girls' basketball team won the YAIAA Division II title outright. It's the Warriors' second straight division title.
