YAIAA top performers, May 9: Four no-hitters

Hits were hard to come by on the YAIAA diamonds on Monday as three individuals and one tandem each put up a no-hitter.

Two of the no-nos were in baseball. Dallastown's Nick Parker tossed a no-hitter to help the Wildcats seal up Division I with a 10-0 victory in six innings against rival Central York. Parker issued eight strikeouts and two walks.

Also, Susquehannock's Conor Miller struck out nine with one walk in the Warriors' 4-0 shutout of Dover.

The others came in the softball circle. Delone Catholic's Cassie Rickrode not only tossed a no-hitter, but she also hit a home run in the Squirettes 10-0, six-inning win against Hanover. Rickrode struck out 10 batters in the win.

And Biglerville's Katie McCauslin and Jordan Miller combined on a three-inning, 15-0 no-hitter against York Catholic.

Here's a look at the rest of the top performers from around the YAIAA.
