BOYS' SOCCER ROUNDUP: Elco clobbers Lancaster Catholic, 5-2


Cocalico's Matt McKinney scored in the 74th minute to tie Lebanon's regular-season fine at one and then sent the Cedars packing with an overtime goal seven minutes into the extra session for a 2-1 Eagles win. Felix Roman-Kortright snared seven saves, while Lebanon totaled five shots. Jesus Orihuela netted the Cedars' final goal of the season, two days after a tough overtime defeat against Solanco.

ANNVILLE-CLEONA 6, NORTHERN LEBANON 0>> Eli Setlock opened the scoring less than nine minutes in, Matt Light scored twice before the half and Gordon Parks chipped in a pair of goals post-intermission to finish a convincing win against the Vikings. Javier Gonzalez Sanchez recorded the other Little Dutchmen goal, and keeper Koy Alwine was forced into just one save. Annville-Cleona finished 14-3 on the season and 11-3 in section play. Northern Lebanon goalie Shane Reese made 21 stops.

ELCO 5, LANCASTER CATHOLIC 2>> The Raiders head into the Lancaster-Lebanon League playoffs fresh off a pair of five-goal efforts, the latest a home win over the Crusaders. Austin Eldridge netted two goals in the game's first five minutes, while Justin Kimmet repeated the feat at the outset of the second half. Ryan Henning recorded his own score in the 58th minute, before Lancaster Catholic's Chris Richards fired his second goal 14 minutes later for a 5-2 final.

LANCASTER MENNONITE 7, LEBANON CATHOLIC 0>> The Beavers dropped their final league of the season, allowing four goals in the first half and three after halftime to the section champion Blazers. Nate Hatzfield worked his way to 18 saves. Lebanon Catholic will play its final regular-season game Friday at In the Net against New Covenant Christian.
