Girls tennis season in Lebanon County came to an end on Friday, but not before the Cedar Crest duo of Keeley Hartman and Abbey Castor did all they possibly could to extend it at least another day.

Hartman and Castor survived a two-hour opening round match in the District 3 3A doubles draw at Hershey Racquet Club, outlasting Carlisle's Meg Ulrich and Cara Eschenmann 3-6, 6-3, 6-2  before falling to the second-seeded Exeter tandem of  Alexis Cramer and Corine Grohoski, 6-0, 6-1 in the second round.

Meanwhile in the 2A bracket, Elco's Kelsey Stubblebine and Jennifer Kinsey were eliminated in the first round by Maddie Young and Lexie Foreman of Bishop McDevitt, 6-0, 7-5.
