Lebanon boys stay hot, top Ephrata, 50-40


Five in a row and 12 out of 13.

There's just no cooling off the Lebanon High boys basketball team these days.

The Cedars won their fifth straight and 12th in their last 13 outings Monday night, clipping Ephrata, 50-40, in a non-league battle on the Mounts' home court.

Now 13-3, Lebanon held Ephrata to just three points in the second quarter on the way to the victory. Luis Aquino-Rios led the Cedars with 14 points and Khalique Washington added 13 to the win.

Girls Basketball

Milton Hershey 45, Lebanon 34

The Cedars remained winless, but stayed competitive in their latest setback.

Destiny Infante led Lebanon with 13 points and Carly Sanders added 7 for the Cedars, who outscored Milton Hershey 24-20 in the second half.

Wrestling

Elco 60, Conrad Weiser 21

The Raiders rolled to the non-league win, giving head coach Chad Miller his 299th career win in the process.

Cole Miller (195), Tyler Horst (285) and Alex Puglio (120) each picked up wins by fall for Elco.

CPIHL

Central York 9, Annville-Cleona 3

A-C allowed six second period goals on the way to the lopsided loss.

James Lingle, Samuel Mintz and Katelyn Brightbill each scored for Annville-Cleona.

Cedar Crest 3, Warwick 3

The Falcons settled for a draw despite a hat trick from Drew Seyfert.
