Palmyra's Dylan Spagnolo throws no-hitter

Dylan Spagnolo may never have a better Monday in his life.

Taking the mound in the Palmyra baseball team's regular-season finale Monday, Spagnolo notched a no-hitter after a 10-0, five-inning win over Milton Hershey at In the Net. The junior hurler struck out seven Spartans and handed out three walks, while the Cougars (14-6) racked up 11 hits.

Zach Yingst finished 3-for-3, Matt Brandt smacked a pair of doubles en route to two RBI and Spagnolo, Nick DeCarlo and Isaac Blatt also had two hits.

Palmyra scored two in the first, three in the fourth and then four over the next two innings, while Spagnolo put the clamps on Milton Hershey. The Cougars' next ball game is scheduled for next Monday in the opening round of the District 3 Class AAA tournament.
