P.O. Honor Roll: Trio of records for GA


ALLY BROWN, Greencastle-Antrim softball: Brown aided the Lady Blue Devils in a triumphant Mid Penn Colonial Division win over Boiling Springs, batting 4-for-4 including two triples and batting in five runs. She also earned the win on the mound in four innings.

COURTNEY COY, Shippensburg softball: Coy racked up eight strikeouts in a Mid Penn Colonial Division win over James Buchanan and went 4-for-5, including a two-run home run against Palmyra.

JENAY FAULKNER, Greencastle-Antrim track & field: Faulkner broke her own school and stadium record in the shot put with a heave of 43-3 in a dual meet win over Boiling Springs.

COLE FUNK, Fannett-Metal baseball: Funk struck out five batters through six innings on the way to earning his second win on the mound. He also stole two bases and scored three runs in a 4-1 victory over Tussey Mountain.

KERI GEARHART, Greencastle-Antrim track & field: Gearhart threw the javelin 124-6 to break her own school record, aiding the Lady Blue Devils in a Mid Penn Colonial Division victory over Boiling Springs.

RACHEL KLINE, Shippensburg softball: Kline batted in the winning run in a 1-0 Mid Penn Colonial Division win over James Buchanan and had a pair of RBIs against Palmyra.

LOGAN MARTIN, Shalom Christian baseball: Martin struck out seven batters in 3 2/3 innings to claim a non-league win over Legacy Christian.

COLBY MAUN, Shalom Christian baseball: Maun had a dominant performance on the mound, fanning 14 batters in a 6-3 win over Fannett-Metal. He allowed just five hits.

CAMPBELL PARKER, Greencastle-Antrim track & field: Parker broke the Pan-Ram meet record in the discus on Saturday, throwing 175-02 for the win.

NATE REED, Chambersburg track & field: Reed was a three-time winner in a Mid Penn Commonwealth Division dual meet against Cumberland Valley, winning the javelin, triple jump and the long jump.

JAMAL RILEY, James Buchanan track & field: Riley won three individual events in a dual meet win over Big Spring. He won the 100 (11.21), the 200 (23.20) and the long jump (20-4.25).

MICAH WISE, James Buchanan boys tennis: Wise claimed a 7-2 tiebreaker in the opening set against Bishop McDevitt, and went on to win the second 6-3. He also won 6-2, 6-1 against Bermudian Springs.

REAGAN WINEBRENNER, Chambersburg track & field: Winebrenner smashed the Chambersburg school record in the discus by more than five feet, throwing 128-4 for the win in a dual meet against Cumberland Valley.

ABBY YOURKAVITCH, Chambersburg track & field: Yourkavitch won the 800, 1600, 3200 and anchored the winning 4x800 relay in a dual meet win over Cumberland Valley. She also placed second in the 1600 at the Pan-Ram Invitational.
