F-F H.S. Highlights: Trojans keep hot streak going

Chambersburg’s field hockey racked up seven goals to keep its early-season momentum going Wednesday afternoon.

After pulling out a big win against State College on Tuesday, the Trojans kept it going with a 7-0 non-league victory over Waynesboro.

What was even more impressive than the Trojans’ seven goals was the fact that no player scored more than one. Molly Keefer, Sage Piper, Liza Ernst, Morgan Mentzer, Jordyn Amsley, Taylor Detrich and Rachel Dusman all contributed goals.

Mentzer was credited with two assist, while Dusman, Ernst and Keefer each had one.

Waynesboro’s Abi Fuller finished with 23 saves, while Chambersburg’s Ariana Burke needed only one to preserve the shutout.
