SOFTBALL: Tuesday's roundup, James Buchanan rallies to hand Waynesboro 15-5 loss
MERCERSBURG >> Waynesboro got off to a quick start Tuesday, but it didn't take long for James Buchanan to fire right back.
The Maidens put up two runs in the first inning, but the Rockets scored 11 unanswered runs and finished off a 15-5 Mid Penn Colonial Division victory with four runs in the bottom of the sixth.
"We were a little sluggish in the first three innings," JB coach Eric Reed said. "But the bats started to come around for us. It was a nice win to celebrate our seniors – Jennae Piper, Shania Fogelsonger and Abbie Doyka."
