HYNDMAN 3, FANNETT-METAL 0 >> Fannett-Metal got better as the night went on, but it wasn't enough to overcome Hyndman in a non-league loss.

The Tigers (0-17) scored only 12 points in the first set but managed 21 and 22 in the second and third sets, respectively.

"The girls had some very good volleys tonight," F-M coach Keri Daniel said. "We are working better as a team although we can't seem to talk like we should. We got off to a slow start, but they came back fighting the second and third."

Emily Metcalfe had a fine game, finishing with four kills, five digs and two aces.
