Coach: Terri Beegle, 10th season, 34-76-1 (.308).

Last year: 6-8 (3-7 Mid Penn Colonial Division).

Returning players: Rachel Martin (sr., No. 1 singles), Meredith Sanders (sr., No. 2 singles), Maggie Strawoet (so., No. 3 singles)

Other top players: Abby Mackling (jr., doubles), Megan Hoffeditz (jr., doubles), Leah Wingert (sr., doubles), Amber Clark (so., doubles), Ella Jones (so., doubles), Brooke Myers (sr., doubles), Kaylie Ryder (sr., doubles)

Outlook: Beegle said, "I really think we'll do OK this year. Trinity and McDevitt are the teams to beat, but we have (all three singles players) with a year under their belts. Rachel Martin qualified for districfts last year, so the expectations will be higher for her. They've been playing with the boys team some, too, so that gives them a different perspective." 

Notes: This season, the Rockets will wear purple bracelets with the words "Play for Violet," honoring former player Violet Clark, who died in April ... JB starts the season with matches on three consecutive days ... Twenty-four players are listed on the roster, but only two freshman.
