EAST PENNSBORO 3, JAMES BUCHANAN 2 >> James Buchanan split a pair of three-set matches, but East Pennsboro still pulled out a 3-2 Mid Penn Colonial Division victory on Thursday afternoon.

"We let this one slip away," JB coach Terri Beegle said. "We had beaten them the first time, but this is two tough (3-2) defeats in two days."

Rachel Martin won in two sets for the Rockets (2-7, 2-6 MPC) at No. 1 singles, and the No. 2 doubles team of Rachel Poffenberger and Violet Clark earned a three-setter.

Beegle said, "Rachel has been playing really, really well, just knocking people off left and right."
