GREENCASTLE 2, BISHOP MCDEVITT 1 >> Greencastle-Antrim earned a narrow non-league victory over McDevitt, setting the tone early with a goal in the first minute of play.

"We came out with a strong lineup," Blue Devils coach Greg Cole said. "We found some good rhythm tonight."

After scoring in the first minute, Madison Sweitzer earned a second goal in the final half off a header, assisted by Ally Rudy, who sent a left-footed ball across the crease for "one of the prettiest goals" Cole said he's seen.

Greencastle (11-5-1) outshot McDevitt 24-4 and forced the Crusaders goalkeeper to stop 17 shots.

EAST PENNSBORO 4, SHIPPENSBURG 1 >> After taking an early lead in the first half, Shippensburg allowed four unanswered goals to East Pennsboro, which erupted in a second-half scoring spree.

"We played a good first half with good passes and movement," Shippensburg coach Mary Miller said. "The second half we made some changes and we didn't seem to pressure up as much."

Kaila Ocker scored the lone goal for Shippensburg (4-12), on a pass from Sarah Strohm, while four different Panthers added a point to the scoreboard in the second half.

The Lady Hounds had just three shots.

MCCONNELLSBURG 10, JOHNSTOWN CHRISTIAN 0 >> It was Senior Night and a Pink Out Night for McConnellsburg, and the Spartans took advantage and had some fun in a non-league victory over Johnstown Christian.

Alexis Mellott (5 goals, 2 assists), Michaela Kendall (2 goals, 3 assists) and Hannah McGarvey (2 goals, 2 assists) led the offense for the Spartans (8-8). Morgan Kendall added a goal and Kiara Pensinger had an assist.

McConnellsburg coach Toby McGarvey said, "I'm happy for the seniors; it was a big night for them. It's been an up-and-down season, but I'm pleased with how the girls have stayed positive."
