GIRLS SOCCER: Thursday's roundup

SHALOM CHRISTIAN 7, FRESTA PIONEER 1 >> Tori Yoder scored five goals and broke the school record for goals in a career in leading Shalom Christian to a 7-1 non-league win over Fresta Pioneer on Thursday.

Yoder now has 112 career goals, breaking the record of 111 held by Brandon Crider. She has 45 scores this season.

"It was a nice non-league game on a neutral field, and Tori continued her hot streak," Flames coach Pete Holdaway said. "They played good defense and were an aggressive team. Our defense held together as a group again and we got some good experience for the younger girls."

Lexy Poe had a goal and an assist, and Brooke Emge converted a penalty kick for Shalom.
