GIRLS SOCCER: Friday's roundup
SHALOM 10, CARROLL CHRISTIAN 0 >> Lexy Poe scored two goals in the first six minutes, and Shalom Christian went on to claim a dominating non-league victory over Carroll Christian.
"It was a less intense game than the first two of the week for us, giving our starters a chance to rest and getting some experience for the younger players," Shalom coach Pete Holdway said. "Carroll Christian played with a lot of heart but could not penetrate our defense."
Tori Yoder led the Flames (8-0) with four goals, while Kendall White and Brooke Emge scored two apiece.
Mackenzie Maun and Caley Etter combined for five saves in the shutout.
