BOYS VOLLEYBALL: Tuesday's roundup

CENTRAL DAUPHIN 3, CHAMBERSBURG 0 >> Chambersburg's boys volleyball team made too many mistakes and it cost it in a Mid Penn Commonwealth Division loss to Central Dauphin Tuesday night.

The Trojans (2-7, 2-5 MPC) nearly won Set 2, losing 27-25, but the Rams took the first and third set fairly easily, 25-18, 25-20.

"We started each game of the match very flat, and we committed too many errors," Chambersburg coach Marta Cummings said. "Every game started with too large of a deficit, and you can't do that against a good team like CD."

Billy Russo led the Trojans with five kills, and Landon Miller and Evan Misal both had four. Jayson Sollenberger had 18 assists, and Will Gerhart had 20 digs.
