BOYS TENNIS: Tuesday's roundup

LOWER DAUPHIN 4, CHAMBERSBURG 1 >> Chambersburg's boys tennis team suffered a pair of disappointing defeats at doubles and took a non-league loss to Lower Dauphin on Tuesday afternoon.

"We were close in both doubles matches today," Trojan coach Brad Hill said. "At No. 1 doubles, we were trailing 0-5 in the third set when Haris (Ahmed) and Naushair (Hussain) attempted to come back by winning four straight games. But Lower Dauphin rallied in the end to close out the match."

Jay Padalia picked up the only win for the Trojans (6-7). He defeated Reed Morris, 6-4, 6-1, at No. 3 singles.

"Jay Padalia continues to play well at No. 3 singles, finishing the regular season 10-2," Hill said.
