JAMES BUCHANAN 4, BISHOP MCDEVITT 1 >> James Buchanan swept the singles matches to clinch the Mid Penn Colonial Division victory over Bishop McDevitt.

"It was good for us to sweep singles, because at that point, our No. 1 doubles team was struggling," Rocket coach Terri Beegle said. "Clay Murray got a big win for us at No. 2. Chance Wishard was down 3-0 in the first, but then won six straight games."

Hunter Sowers also picked up a win at No. 3 singles for JB (6-5, 2-5 MPC), while the No. 1 doubles team of Isaac Shenton and Josh Summers rallied for a 6-7 (7-4), 6-2, 6-2 win.

"Those guys just seem to play well enough to win, and they do battle back when they get behind," Beegle said.
