BOYS: Thursday, Shalom rolls over New Life

Shalom Christian 67, New Life 35 >> Shalom Christian's defense helped the Flames build a 32-12 lead by halftime and they cruised to a 67-35 non-league win over New Life on Thursday night.

Shalom coach Danley Shank said, "I thought we played hard for all four quarters and the starters really set the tone with how we began the game. We were able to limit the runs New Life made."

Jonah Stains put up 24 points for the Flames (11-4), while Cameron Roseman dropped in 21.

Shank said, "We had one guy out sick, and Josh Coldsmith did a good job of settling into that spot. Chase Martin did a good job of keeping our tempo and we got good shots for Jonah, Cam and Micah (Lehman)."
