TUSSEY MOUNTAIN 14, FORBES ROAD 11 >> Both teams put up plenty of hits, but the eight errors committed by Forbes Road played a big role in Tussey Mountain's Sideling Hill/Inter-County Conference victory.

"We hit the ball well enough – we actually had more hits than them – and the pitching wasn't that bad," Cardinal coach Randy Gelvin said. "But we gave them eight unearned runs, and some of the errors were really bad, like two dropped fly balls. Plus, Tussey played pretty solid defense (1 error)."

For Forbes Road (1-5, 1-4 SHL/ICC), Aaron Schepis was 2-for-3, and Brycen Hohman, Brock Broadwater and Weylin Mitchell each went 2-for-4.
