F-F H.S. Highlights

The Southern Fulton baseball team claimed a close 4-3 non-league victory over District 5 rival Meyersdale in a rematch of last year's district final.

The Indians used aggressive base running in the tight contest, stealing nine bases, led by Zach Clark, who stole four - but the team also stranded 10 runners on base and flew out eight times.

"We should have scored more runs tonight," Southern Fulton coach Dustin Fischer said. "But we had a nice win against a friendly rival of ours."

Clark earned the win for SF (11-1) in four innings of relief work. He allowed three hits and struck out two.

Southern Fulton has won its last nine games.
