York Catholic grads combine for nine goals


York Catholic was well represented Saturday afternoon as a pair of former Fighting Irish girls' lacrosse players combined for nine goals in St. Francis' (Pa.) 23-8 win over Radford.

Lindsay Ingram (York Catholic '12), who was named to the YAIAA first-team all stars twice under head coach Rob Linthicum, scored a career high six goals and added an assist. The senior midfielder scored on all six of her shot attempts. Ingram was also named a team captain for this season.

Jessica Mazzur (York Catholic '14) added three goals on five shots and registered four draw controls.

Morgan Day (Kennard-Dale '15), who is well known around the YAIAA for breaking the national high school record for career goals (469) at Kennard-Dale, also started for the Red Flash but didn't record a goal.
