NewsVroom hits Hanover: Contest winners and videos from the event

We had a blast at Friday night's York Suburban at Hanover basketball game. Brittany Wilson and I got to meet some fans, play some games and watch some hoops. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to chat, check out our setup and enter our contests.

Which brings us to the good stuff.

The winner of our predict the score contest is Allie, who had the fewest point total difference between her prediction and the 56-55 final score. Allie guessed that Hanover would win, 65-58, good for just a 12-point difference from the actual score. Thanks for playing, Allie! Have your mom or dad contact me at jsprenkle (at) ydr.com or 717-771-2085 so we can hook you up with some prizes!

Because the fans on Friday were such good sports, I'm going to award another prize in the score contest, as well. Lori Rhodes correctly predicted the final margin of victory when she guessed the final score would be 69-68. And that's pretty impressive, even though York Suburban won, and even though Lori's guess wasn't quite as close as Allie's was. So Lori, drop me a call or an email and we'll send some prizes your way, too.

Click the jump to see more prediction videos, as well as some other shenanigans from the Hanover athletic lobby, including a juggling journalist, the Myers Maniacs, the Spirit Stick of Hanover and more. Plus, we handed over one of our iPads to the Hanover cheerleading coach, who recorded videos of the girls' routines.

And here are some videos of the Hanover cheerleading squad's routines during Friday's game, as filmed by the cheerleading coaches:
