Musselman, Reiley to enter PVCA Hall of Fame

York County natives Scott Musselman and Chip Reiley will enter the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association Hall of Fame on Dec. 6 in State College.

Musselman, a retired teacher and coach at Red Lion, won three league titles and six division championships while guiding the girls' program at that school. He also had 11 players make all-state teams and 43 go on to play in college during a 31-year career as the Lions' coach.

Reiley didn't coach a varsity high school program but became involved in junior girls' volleyball in 1985 as a parent. Since then, he helped form the South Central PA Junior Girls Volleyball Association, the Youth/Junior Olympic Volleyball Division within USA Volleyball and East Coast Volleyball, Inc.

"Chip has labored tirelessly for volleyball and for our junior players," said Dave Morton, former Dallastown coach and past president of the PVCA. "Chip has made a huge impact on the growth of junior volleyball in Pennsylvania over the last years."

A list of Hall of Fame members can be found here on the PVCA website.
