Central field hockey standout Lauren Moyer named to Junior National Squad

This week it was announced that recent Central York grad Lauren Moyer has been named to the U.S. Junior Women's National Field Hockey Squad.

Moyer, who will continue playing at the University of North Carolina, is one of 25 chosen to play on the U19 Junior National team. This honor comes on the heels of her second straight selection to play on the U.S.A. Women's National U19 Indoor Squad, an honor in which she received in April of 2013.

The all-around talent Moyer, who scored 20 goals and had 12 defensive saves for Central last season, will likely get the opportunity to play in Europe again. Click here for more information.
