Dallastown sophomore makes waves with PA Classics

Dallastown sophomore McKinley Curran might be one of the best high school-aged soccer players not heard of around high school boys' soccer. That's because he doesn't play for the Wildcats but instead for PA Classics, where he leads U-15/16 team in goals -- 13 in 23 games, including 23 starts.

Curran was recently selected as the U.S. Soccer Development Academy's player of the week for his performance against New Jersey Soccer Academy 04. Curran scored two goals in PA Classics' 2-1 win.

PA Classics plays out of Manheim. Coming off a 1-0 loss to FC Delco, its next match is 1:30 p.m. Sunday at home vs. the Richmond Strikers. For more on the Classics, including roster, schedule and league standings, click here.
