Kennard-Dale's Chance Marsteller latest to join SI's 'Faces in the Crowd'

Not one, but now two York County native wrestlers have graced Sports Illustrated's "Faces in the Crowd" feature, which spotlights amateur athletes across the country.

First, it was Dover native Brooks Black, who was highlighted for his performances as part of Blair Academy. Now, Kennard-Dale junior Chance Marsteller has joined him by becoming a spotlight athlete in the March 25 edition of SI.

The unbeaten Marsteller was featured for winning his third PIAA wrestling championship, defeating Garrett Peppelman of Central Dauphin earlier this month. The "Faces in the Crowd" with Marsteller can be found on SI.com or on Page 28 of the magazine (note, the page is not numbered).

Marsteller has not lost a high school wrestling match in his three years of high school competition. His winning of the most outstanding wrestler award at the PIAA championships and his No. 1 rankings by Flowrestling and InterMat were highlighted as part of his recognition in "Faces in the Crowd."
