End of an era at Kennard-Dale

When the Kennard-Dale girls basketball team was eliminated from the District 3 playoffs, it ended the high school career of Sara Tarbert, a player I wish I could have watched more.

Take a look at the career stats from Kennard-Dale and you will find Tarbert's name at the top of most categories, including points (1,742), scoring average (17.6), 2-pt field goals (674), foul shots made (331), rebounds (1,028), steals (278) and blocked shots (193).

She also ranks second in career assists (250) and fourth in free throw percentage (71.2).

The UMBC recruit scored 605 points as a senior and over her career dropped more 30 or more in a game seven times; 25 or more 18 times. She even added the 3-pointer to her game this season, knocking down 17 of them.
