Eastern York grad Andrew Nicholas to miss season

Monmouth sophomore and Eastern York graduate Andrew Nicholas was dealt a disappointing blow this past week when the rest of his season was lost because of a heel injury. The Asbury Park Press reported Wednesday that Monmouth coach King Rice said Nicholas had surgery on the heel Tuesday and is expected to return this summer.

Nicholas had been enjoying a solid year, averaging a team-high 13.9 points per game. The Hawks were 9-17 through their first 26 games.
